SENSE Workshop Course Objectives:

• Discuss key elements of the SENSE program.
• Demonstrate assessment strategies to assess infant tolerance. 
• Discuss specific strategies to enhance sensory exposures in the NICU. 
• Discuss the rationale and understand implementation of the Supporting and Enhancing NICU Sensory Experiences (SENSE) Program that includes evidence based week-by-week sensory interventions and the weekly infant assessment to optimize infant outcomes.
• Possess skills to implement the SENSE program at your hospital. 

It is recommended that if your hospital plans on implementing the SENSE program, you purchase a license for the program prior to attending this training webinar so that you have access to all materials in advance of the presentation. A SENSE license can be purchased at https://chan.usc.edu/research/clinical-tools/sense. Only one license is needed per hospital using the program.
